一、主講人介紹:梁棟教授
梁棟,加拿大約克大學(xué) (York University) 教授。長期從事偏微分方程數(shù)值解、環(huán)境和能源數(shù)值模擬、多孔介質(zhì)滲流力學(xué)計算方法、計算電磁學(xué)等方面的研究工作。在大氣環(huán)境氣溶膠預(yù)測、油藏數(shù)值模擬、地下水環(huán)境計算、Maxwell方程計算、超材料電磁計算研究中取得重要成果。在包括國際學(xué)術(shù)期刊J. Comput. Phys.; SIAM J. Numer. Anal.; SIAM J. Sci. Comput.; Numer. Math.等發(fā)表期刊論文120余篇。2012年獲得加拿大國家自然科學(xué)基金(NSERC)的DAS獎勵。連續(xù)承擔(dān)加拿大國家自然科學(xué)基金(NSERC)項目多項,并承擔(dān)加拿大MITACS項目。
二、講座信息
In this talk, we will first introduce the conservation laws of contamination flows and the coupled nonlinear PDEs for describing contamination flows. We will then present our development of efficient domain-decomposition schemes for solving convection diffusion problems and parabolic problems and for solving contamination flows in parallel computing. We will also present block-centered compact difference methods for solving the time-dependent partial differential equations and report the block-centered compact S-DDM scheme. Numerical experiments are given to show their performances. The developed algorithms work efficiently over multiple sub-domains, which can be applied in simulation of contamination flows.
